Our client had to respond to urgent data requests made in terms of GDPR in the European Union as well as the Personal Data Privacy Ordinance in Hong Kong. The volume of documents to be reviewed was very large and the client had time and budget constraints.
LDM Global’s Legal Services team worked with the client and their outside counsel to deliver a technology solution supported by expert consulting services. The team used our advanced analytics capabilities to cull the dataset and eliminate almost 700,000 documents before human review.
A team of experienced review attorneys was deployed and reviewed over 60,000 documents for responsiveness, issue codes, privilege, plus confidentiality and identified and redacted personal information in these documents.
Our adherence to agreed workflows, ongoing, proactive communication, and consistent processes ensured that the client was always updated and satisfied with the quality of the work product and this project was completed ahead of schedule.
